Our client needed to improve the lighting in their large 14.5 meter tall industry hall while reducing energy consumption. They were using 52 outdated 400W high pressure sodium high bay fixtures that provided dim, inefficient lighting measured at just 180 lux on the main floor.
We recommended replacing these with only 48 of our 150W HB01 HiCloud LED high bay lights. Engineered for industrial spaces, these fixtures produce an impressive 112 lumens per watt efficacy. The 50 degree optical design focuses light tightly on the main working plane.
The results were a dramatic increase in light levels to 330 lux, improving visibility and safety across the hall. This 83% increase was achieved along with a 70% reduction in energy use, thanks to the efficient LEDs.
The client was extremely satisfied with the transformation, reporting much improved working conditions and massive energy savings.
