The outdated HID lighting system at this football field required a modern, energy-efficient solution. Our client required an LED lighting retrofit, and we successfully replaced the original 1000W HID lights with 16 of our 600W FL13 floodlights. This upgrade not only significantly reduces energy consumption but also cuts energy costs.
To ensure optimal and uniform lighting across the field, the FL13 fixtures were mounted on 16-meter-high poles with a precise 60-degree beam angle. The installation involved four poles, with two positioned on each side of the field, providing excellent illumination for both players and spectators.
