AGC Can Make Some Impossible Projects to Be Possible

This is an experience sharing.

One of our long-term cooperated clients needs an LED product to work on a 55°C project.

In the beginning, they offered some models that could work in such high temperature environment.

However, those models are quite expensive and their clients didn’t need them.

This client loves AGC’s LHB11 tri-proof model. He thinks it is a robust product with good dissipation and driver(Philips driver).

They gave it a try in the end.

If we AGC sales only check the working temperature of standard LHB11 in the datasheet, it is not ok for this project, as the maximum working temperature is 40°C.

Does that mean we will lose the project? No.

AGC is always ready to help our clients with every impossible project.

Our R & D team tried to use a higher power driver to make lower power LHB11 and tested it.

Finally, we found our 60W LHB11 with 100W Philips driver can work well at 55°C.

Temperature test data is good.

The client was very happy and ordered samples immediately.
