We all know that emergency solution and battery backup is important in the LED lighting industry, especially for facilities where power off is a big trouble.
LED emergency solutions and battery backups are prepared and used for situations when your power supply is disconnected. It happens, especially in cities or towns where electricity power is not always enough or meeting some special cases that results in power disconnection. When the power is off and the lighting fixtures shut down, the emergency solution or battery backup will start to work, which usually will provide a few hours of emergency discharging time, making the fixtures still lighting on but not full power, only low brightness which however is enough for emergency situation.
AGC Lighting now has developed two solutions for emergency lighting and safety, one is with a little light fitting attached to the main lighting fixture which is connected to the dimming cable and emergency battery backup. Another one uses a specially designed LED PCB Board which includes an emergency LED arrangement for emergency lighting, but of course, still needs to connect with a battery backup. Pictures are shown to you as below:
For the first solution, it is actually a small independent light fitting, just tiny but works with high lighting efficiency which is quite enough when an emergency happens. This solution, because of its easiness, is suitable for any kind of fixture and applications because you just need one of these small emergency light fittings to be attached with battery backup and put aside or integrated with the main lighting fixture.
The second solution, however, is specially designed by AGC Lighting using a specially designed LED PCB Board, which is customizable though, only need to re-design your lighting fixtures’ LED PCB Board and add the emergency LED chips to be lit when powered off. And of course, have to add a battery backup as well. This solution also is an optimized solution that is compatible with different types of LED Drivers now. As it is an optimized version, its former version AGC Lighting developed, was only available for a limited LED Driver brand. So thanks to AGC engineers’ hard work, now no worries.
