How many generations of LED High Bay AGC Lighting has developed? I think you might be interested to know.
From 2014 to 2022, AGC has so far developed over 50 generations, yes >50 generations! And every single design has been developed according to specific market demand.
In 2014, when the industrial LED lighting had just been starting to grow, AGC released the FIRST UFO highbay in market, yes you are not hearing it wrong, THE FIRST UFO high bay in global market came from AGC.
In 2014, the first generation we called it HB01, at that time it already had over 120lm/w efficacy while as you know most of the highbays back then were below 100lm/w or just around 100lm/w luminous efficiency. Besides, from that very beginning we already started to use sensors and controllers like microwave, PIR, DALI, Zigbee. Moreover, when almost all other highbays were still using reflectors to change beam angle, we already hired professional optics designer to use optical lens for different beam needs, which comparing to reflectors is much more easier to install and has wider beam angle options and higher energy-saving efficiency. Unsurprisingly HB01 was the hottest selling LED High Bay in 2014 and has been hot-sale in the following consecutive years as well. Even until now many clients are still choosing HB01 for highbay option.
But we weren't self-satisfied, instead we have kept on improving. Later on, we developed to 6th generation, HB06. And it had us get the "Reddot Award 2018 Winner” for lighting design in Germany. This design not only has aesthetic appreciation value but also wide range practical applications, including the strict food processing facility application with NSF certification compliant at an efficiency 140lm/w-160lm/w. And yes, our counter-manufacturers once again had started to produce similar ones after HB06 released in global market for a few years.
From 1st generation to >50th generation, there are just too many stories to tell, above two of the many great designs are just for your reference. Over the past 7 years, AGC has not only kept on new product design and development but also newest technological advancement utilization.
