LED Highbay Light Is Only Going to Be More Cost-Effective and User-Friendly

Jack Ling

Over the past decade, we have seen the fastest evolution of industrial LED lighting, especially LED Highbay Lights. From the very traditional COB highbays to Round UFO SMD highbays and DOB highbays as well.

From COB to SMD: The Birth of UFO Highbays

Today I want to talk about the trend of UFO highbays becoming more and more cost-effective and user-friendly. I still remember that when our company, AGC released the market’s first generation SMD UFO highbay HB01, it had improved so much compared with traditional COB ones. On one hand, the UFO high bay is more compact and efficient; on the other hand, it is more beautifully designed as a whole without a reflector but using a PC lens instead, with more flexible beam angle options. Importantly, of course, the prices become cheaper too.

Smart Controls in Highbay Evolution

Then the high bay designs have been evolving, besides design, efficiency, and price, smart controls have also been added in. From first smart controls used such as DALI, motion sensor, PIR sensor, to Zigbee, Bluetooth, etc. The smart controls themselves have evolved too. All these smart controls and sensors are for user-friendly and human care. So now it has been developing mainly along this new trend.

AGC Lighting: Leading the Way in Highbay Innovation

For AGC Lighting, we have always been able to catch up with new trends and move further ahead of other counterparts. From the very beginning releasing HB01 first generation UFO highbay, we have used many different smart controls and sensors for our lights, and AGC’s LED highbay is becoming more and more user-friendly. And yes, prices become more and more cost-effective too.

HB53: The Most User-Friendly Highbay Yet

To specifically introduce one of our newest, innovative UFO highbays, I would like to present our HB53, the most easy-to-assemble highbay.

HB53 LED high bay light

When I say “most easy-to-assemble”, it is literally as easy to assemble as LEGOs. Divided into 4 parts: driver, heat sink, LED module&PCB&Lens, and the sensor with a waterproof cap.

Don’t be surprised yet, it is DIY available, and customers can assemble SKD parts for different configurations, i.e. different wattages with different output and CCT colors as well, which is what I initially said about a trend for more user-friendly. This is crucially important for many countries because, in recent years, more and more governments are encouraging local manufacturers to produce LED lights on their own. So under this situation, AGC’s HB53 is definitely an ideal choice.

Outstanding Performance and Compact Design

Besides the highlighted DIY and most easy-to-assemble feature, the lighting performance of HB53 is outstanding. 100W 120W 150W 200W full wattage range, >150lm/w high efficiency with most popular 90°and 60°beam options, and microwave motion sensor, PIR sensor available as well.

HB53 product range

For end-user customers, HB53 high bay’s cost-effectiveness and user-friendly features are their favorite. But for distributors and wholesalers, HB53’s super compact design is another loving point as well. Why? Well, because it directly affects their paid shipping cost and storage cost for these products. In that regard, HB53 is also an ideal high bay for distributors and wholesalers.

With you who are before the screen reading this article, I would very much like to discuss more on this topic, while at the same time, AGC will keep creating or following the newest trends for global customers. Hope to hear from you, your comments or inquiries. You can always find me by my contact information, thanks.
