In the early days of August, a Polish client asked for LED flood lights to exchange existing lights over the container quay crane in a port– those for a lift container. At that moment they had all sodium lights in cranes following lights. They need a proposition which lamps can be used for sea area and anti-vibration. Here are the tech drawings and images for those quay cranes.
AGC Lighting’s FL23 500W and FL57 240W anti-corrosion LED flood lights were promoted. They are designed with corrosion-resistant material and large powers past the 3G vibration test. By doing the lighting simulation, finally, we check the light quantity.
In this crane lighting project, the client also asked for extra shock-absorbing protection and expanded the bracket hole to meet the old lamp’s parameters. It is easy for us to add extra shock-absorbing protection, while the standard hole diameter is 13mm. It means that we need to customize it. After negotiating with the engineering team, they confirmed that enlarging the hole to 16mm diameter is possible.
Here are the production images. The center hole on the brackets was enlarged to 16mm diameter, and the shock-absorbing spacer was offered.
