A proper led flood light for building facade should meet the following three basic requirements
a. corrosion-proof
Unlike indoors, the weather outside is changeable and the humidity level may be higher than indoors, especially in the early morning. So it is required that the led flood light , installed outdoors , used for illuminating architectural facade , have a higher corrosion resistance. If your suppliers recommend you to use flood light with plastic shell, think twice. because the plastic shell is very susceptible to weather and then leading to distortion . This irreversible destruction often reduce the IP rating of lamps.
b. adjustable bracket
The purpose, function , structure and style of each building are different. Therefore, the same facade lighting design scheme is unlikely to be applied to all buildings. a floodlight with an adjustable bracket ,however ,allows engineering lighting designers to design different lighting solutions. When the right light is distributed on the facade of the building, and the whole building comes with an interlaced lighting effect of light and fully display the third dimension of the building. If this effect were to be applied on a landmark building, it would be an attractive scenery line.

The choice of light source for building facade should avoid choosing high energy consumption traditional lamps like HID. LED flood light is featured with high light efficiency, long lifespan, environmentally friendly. In addition,the lighting control solution should also be able to adjust according to the intensity of natural light, so as to keep the equipment operating cost low and achieve the purpose of energy saving.
