One of our customers is working on a project for a big airplane manufacturer.
In order to win this project, we must satisfy 3 conditions from the end users.
- They want absolutely Zigbee system.
- They want a Zigbee + emergency integrated solution.
- They want higher ROI.
Since the customer always buys HB25 high bay 190lm/w version, so we decided to find a solution on HB25. It’s easy to satisfy condition 1(Zigbee system) and condition 3(higher ROI) by using the HB25 190lm/w version. The last challenge is a combination of the Zigbee system and emergency function.
As to the Zigbee system, we have three versions Zigbee controller: HLC610, HLC734, and HSSA07.
HLC610 needs to be internally in a driver box or inside the luminaire; HLC734 can be external; HSSA07 is plug and play version.
Considering the cost and easy installation, we choose HSSA07, which can be plug and play. Meanwhile, we chose our new emergency light EPE-ED7 for emergency function, it has 4W/8W options and an emergency duration of 3 hours. The combination of Zigbee HB25 and EPE-ED7 is not complicated, just connect the AC power cable of the HB25 to the EPE-ED7 emergency module. We also designed a small bracket to fix the EPE-ED7 LED module to one side of the HB25.
The final design as below picture, we won the project and the customer purchased hundreds of HB25 for hall 1 for the test. If the test is ok, the customer will buy HB25 for the rest 11 halls.
