In a dim environment or under too dazzling lights, not only people can not work at ease, but it will also affect people's response speed. Providing a bright lighting environment while in the same time controls the glare has always been a challenge to lighting designers. And products of this kind in the market is rare.
With the breakthrough multiple-leds-in-one lens design, VENUS highbay provides a high efficacy up to 170lm/w, one-to-one replacement of 600W HID lamps, while lower the glare down to UGR<19.
With the integrated zhaga interface option, VENUS highbay also supports intelligent controls such as 0-10V, DALI, Zigbee, daylight sensing, microwave motion sensing and PIR sensing from any zhaga certificated vendors .
HiHot supports 190lm/w high lumen output and various beam angle ( 60°90°120°), perfect for high mounting application. The plug-and-play sensor get more energy saving. Superior thermal management on heat sink ensure it can be used at 65℃ working environment. Importantly, 10 years warranty is workable between -30~+50℃ working ambient.
Generally speaking, LED light source is the optimum option for commercial and industrial applications. LEDs have longer life span than traditional light sources. In addition, LEDs consume up to 80% less energy than conventional light sources, like MH lights and HPS lights, while producing the same amount of light. Therefore, converting traditional high bay lights to LED high bay lights means less energy consumption and lower electricity bill for commercial and industrial properties.
As one of the leading industrial LED light manufacturers, AGC provides high quality LED high bay lights. We only put LED lights on the market after rigorous testing. Therefore, there is no need to worry about the safety, quality, functionality, and durability of our LED lights. Moreover, multiple sensors and smart controls such as motion sensors, daylight sensors, DALI, Zigbee, and 0-10V dimming, are available with our LED high bay lights, which help you save energy cost effectively.
LED high bay light is a kind of energy-efficiency indoor LED lamps, which can be used in industrial plants, production workshops, supermarkets, warehouses, factory, gymnasium, indoor sport halls, machine workshop, airport hangars, etc.
The term ‘high bay lighting’ refers to the positioning of the luminaires, and as such it covers a broad and flexible range of lamp types and fittings. As a rule of thumb, high bay light is best for lighting large space with every high ceiling, where the floor-to-ceiling height measures 15 feet or taller.
According to the lighting function, it can be divided into two kinds of lighting - general lighting and partly lighting. General lighting is usually evenly arranged above the work site or on the side walls, illuminating the entire work surface. Partly lighting is a kind of luminaire to improve the brightness of a working part, its role is to supplement the basis lighting. It is also used to illuminate some places that usually do not need lighting, such as equipment maintenance, maintenance sites, etc., as temporary lighting.
According to installation, high bay lights are suspended from the ceiling with the help of pendant, hooks, and chains. They can also be fixed on walls. Usually, different mounting options are available for each type of high bay light to suit the needs of different occasions and sizes.
This problem is too complex to answer. The quantity of LED high bay lights you need depends on the space of your areas and your desired foot-candles on the ground. We highly recommend you contact us and get a lighting design which is customized for your space. The lighting design will show you how many LED high bay lights you need, where they are located, and the distance between fixtures.
LED high bay lights are ideal for the large space with the ceiling at 20 feet to 45 feet. The mounting height of LED high bay lights can be figured out by their lumen outputs roughly. Generally, the more powerful LED high bay light is, the higher mounted height. Here is a table of the mounting height of LED high light according to the lumen output.
LED High Bay Light Output |
Mounting Height |
---|---|
15000 - 20000 lumens |
15-20 feet |
20000 - 30000 lumens |
20-30 feet |
30000 - 40000 lumens |
30-40 feet |
More than 45000 lumens |
Over 40 feet |
The main difference of high bay lights and low bay lights is the ceiling height. From their name, it is not difficult to understand that high bay lights are designed to illuminate large spaces with higher ceiling while low bay lights are more suitable for the space with lower ceiling. High bay lights can work with ceiling between 15 and 45 feet high. But low bay light are used for ceilings about 12 to 20 feet high above the floor. The other difference between high bay lights and low bay lights is the light spread. Since the higher distance from floor, high nay lights are usually fitted with reflectors to ensure the light spreads down and out in an appointed way. Besides, high bay light also have higher lumen output to compensate the long distance to the floor.
Some of our high bay lights are typically designed for harsh environments like food processing plants, cold storage, and steel mills. To ensure the safety, our products feature relevant ingress protections to water, dust, impact, and high temperature.
Nearly all our high bay lights are rated for IP65 ingress protection, protecting fixtures from water and dust intrusion. Some LED high bay lights such as HB21 HiAir and HB06 HiClean can provide ingress protection up to IP69K, which allows the use of high pressure water (9000kPa) up to 80 degrees. Most of our high bay lights also feature impact protection from IK07 to IK10, protecting the fixture from external mechanical impacts. When it comes to high temperature environments,
Some of our high bay lights have excellent thermal conductivity and large heat dissipation area, which enables LED high bay lights keep functioning in high temperature up to 70 degrees.
We do. We provide different motion sensor solutions to accommodate the needs of different places. Some high bay lights have built-in motion sensors. Some have plug-and-play motion sensors. Motion sensors do help you save energy cost effectively. Apart from motion sensors, PIR sensors, 0-10V dimming, DALI, Zigbee, emergency backup, and other smart controls are also available.
We do. Applications like operating rooms and gymnasiums require glare free lighting environment. Glare will not only cause the visual discomfort but also affect people’s response speed. To solve the problem, some of our LED high bay lights are designed with tailored optic lens. These LED high bay lights can lower the glare to UGR<19 and improve visual comfort while maintaining high-efficiency emission.
