Through the study of AGC, we found that most fixtures were designed with symmetric optics, which require adjusting the installation angle to light up a central area and enhance uniformity and light intensity.

However, if the elevation angle is too high and lacks proper shielding, upward light, and glare will be produced, causing light pollution and waste.

To avoid these issues, AGC suggests you choose asymmetric optics and horizontal installation for an unsheltered sport field surrounded by residential areas. Moreover, we also did off-field lighting simulations. And the results clearly showed that asymmetric optics have more advantages.
